Old Cowboy Ranch

The Old Cowboy Ranch is a working ranch on the shores of the Kettle River, Westbridge, in the Kootenay Boundary Country, British Columbia, Canada.

The main ranch property features riverside camping on large, private, treed campsites with picnic tables and fire pits.  Campsites are suitable for a tent, a camper, trailer or full size RV.

If you prefer ranch life with all the amenities of home, book our beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully equipped, winterized, riverside guest house complete with wrap around porch.

Or you may choose to book a winterized suite at the Old Cowboy Ranch, River View Log Cabins in nearby Rock Creek, complete with all the amenities of home including kitchens and satellite TV.

The Old Cowboy Ranch offers trail rides and horseback riding lessons with discounts available to guests of the Old Cowboy Ranch Guest and River View Log Cabins.

Along with 19 horses, including 2 miniature horses, the Ranch is home to cows, pigs, llamas, alpaca, goats, a donkey, a mule, a variety of fancy chickens, geese, ducks, emus and over 60 majestic peacocks!

The Old Cowboy Ranch is located on the shores of the crystal clear Kettle River.

The river is perfect for inner “tubing” AKA “rafting”, or if you prefer simply wade, swim or kayak.

Campers, neighbors, friends and family, please join us Saturday June 29th (Canada Day Long Weekend) for a family friendly night of hayrides, BBQ, dancing and The Carol Adams Band.

Free admission for campers, otherwise $5 per person a the gate, includes a voucher for $2 off any food purchase.

Exact time on Saturday evening to be announced but please mark your calendar now with the evening of June 29th, 2013.

Our winters are spectacular with the picture perfect amount of snow, with easy access to the Trans Canada Trail.
